Those pics are absolutely stunning, Sis. Alvear! I am so glad you got to experience this! No one in the world deserves it more than the two of you.

What is the temperature there? Can't tell if you're all covered up because it's cold, or if you're trying to keep the sun off!
Glad you're having an awesome time! I'm happy for you.

Amazing pictures - I imagined having to climb all that way - I'd need a stretcher to carry me back down!!! enjoy seeing a part of God's earth I've never seen before!

Re: Machu Picchu - The Alvears
Well, we just arrived back in Lima...It has been awesome...We head for razil tomorrow afternoon.
Actually it is rainy season and it cools off in the evening but it was nice and warm for the climb. My legs are a little sore but actually I cannot believe we did it! Glad we have Brother and Sister Lewis they have been angels to help us in every way.
We carried oxgen with us and everything we needed in back packs...we went slow, rested and then climbed some more...it was just awesome...
Wish some of you folks could have been with us...we have met some interesting people and invited them to come visit us in Brazil!
