When I get home, maybe I'll post pics of my own arteries. My cardiologist says I have "beautiful arteries!"

So, what are you saying here? The Debbil is in cahoots with french fries, fried chicken, fried pork chops, and such like? The fried stuff provides the buildup and the debbil provides the blood clot?

Re: A Demonic Attack?
I personally don't think a whole lot of discernment is needed when someone shoots off that clogged arteries is the result of a demonic attack.
I remember years ago, I was sitting on the platform next to the Pastor's wife and a young man was up testifying about how wonderful youth retreat was. The young man went on that, "...and the debbil* did his best to make sure we wouldn't get to youth retreat...he caused the bus to break down but we finally got there...!!!" The Pastor's wife turned to me and said, "It wasn't the debbil* we just need to get that stupid bus fixed." I just about fell out of my chair laughing.
*debbil/debol/debil etc...-I use the misspelling and mis characterization of the term of the enemy, he/it doesn't deserve even one ounce of my effort to try and get it right. Plus, I like making fun of him/it and not giving him any satisfaction of my acknowledgement. So there.

Nothing is really cut and dried in life. But the fact is that everything IS judged that way. Standards with most people are right and everyone has to follow them or they are not right and we don't. Not alot of grey areas. I personally try and judge a person due to the grey areas. But it is unfortunate that we are judged by our actions and not our intentions. But that is the way it is.

At any rate, I have to wonder if to call a demonic attack a demonic attack one would have to ask did the demon actually fill the arteries with junk? I think that is giving the little bugger way too much credit.
POMO leapt to a conclusion. Did I say son or son in law? I don't remember, I was just making a point.

DE...
This is worthy of some extensive discussion...the Borat escapade...I mean...and I'm sure I missed out on other discussions before...
...the events surrounding Borat's "visit" to our campmeeting, leave many of us at a loss as to why such an episode could take place in the midst of God's anointed people and leadership...could not one person discern the true spirit, motives and intentions of this anti-spiritual character...who was fully committed to bringing reproach and humiliation to a godly group of believers...
...to have the very leaders that we rely on to look out for our spiritual welfare and health...be totally and completely fooled by the pseudo-spiritual behavior of one man...is beyond me...
...spiritual gifts are in operation in the church today...and if that is so, why have some leaders, caught up in their own importance, ignored the advice and counsel of the Lord through discernment...
...the desire to "impress" or "to be impressive" in our ministry MUST NEVER overwhelm the leading of the Holy Ghost...to "perform" for the crowd is a temptation that will bring about the most damaging and faith-harming results...and damages that may not have a cure...
