A Demonic Attack?
Did anyone hear the sermon from our friend out west that indicated his father's heart crisis situation was the result of a demonic attack?
Are you kidding me? His arteries were clogged 50-60% probably because of years of greasy southern cooking and late night trashy food from Chilli's after church! A demonic attack...on a powerful preacher, full of the Holy Ghost? Talk about hype!! |
Re: A Demonic Attack?
Some folks don't want to take responsibility .... good thread on this on a political scale somewhere ...
but it happens in the Church too. |
Re: A Demonic Attack?

Why not just say, Brother so and so just didn't eat right or take care of himself but now he certainly will!? Does that compromise his leadership and ironclad reputation somehow? Or does it make him human and on the same plane as the hairy unwashed? |

I was attacked by the demon of sleepiness, this morning. Made me late for work.

Re: A Demonic Attack?
Ironclad reputation? Snort.
He's a good eater and an avid exerciser so I'm sure his prob is just genetic bad luck. His son is the poster child for the wacky Pentecostals who overspiritualize everything and discern prophecies from Bible Code messages in their Alphabet soup. He's seen the devil under every rock as long as I've known him. It'd be nice if he saw Jesus every now and then. They haven't realized yet that life is life and sometimes we all get dirtied by the stuff that hits the proverbial fan from time to time. I think the Bible says something about raining on the just and the unjust. JMHO. |
