It was a thought. In the context of Exodus 4, I can see that God was preparing Moses for ministry by as Esaias said making sure everything was in order.

Don, why is it important to you to depict Moses as being unfaithful. How does that encourage or edify anyone in their faith? How does it advance the purposes of God?
