I then drove 25 minutes to my new place, started shampooing and the thing didn't work!! I called them and they said I had to bring it back within the hour if I wanted a refund! I griped a bit and they said there was nothing they could do, so I drove back there and they got the shampooer out. I told them enough of my time had been wasted, I wanted my money back and wanted to leave. They made me wait for them to "test" it and then they gave me my money back! I told them they needed some customer service around there!! I drove home and got my little Wal-Mart shampooer out and drove back and got a couple of rooms done before the day was over. Grrrr!!!

Re: I'm Buying a House!!!
Oh, I will!
I have a two-week waiting period before I know for sure if I'll be able to get the house!
Just praying for what's best - if it works out, then it's the house for me - - if it doesn't, then it wasn't for me.

Re: I'm Buying a House!!!
She woke up this morning. It was the dawning of a new day. She put the past behind her and moved on. She knew she had to forgive and forget or she would become stuck in the rut of life, possibly never able to move on. She picked up her phone. She dialed it. She called Market Foods and asked the question she had been dreading to speak. "Do you have shampooers there?" They said "No, but XYZ Grocer's might". She spun a moment from the rejection. Momentarily she was set back. But, not for long. She picked up the phone again and dialed the number for XYZ. She again asked the dreaded question. "Do you have shampooers there?" "YES!" they replied. She hesitated a moment and then asked "Is it industrial stength?" "YES!" they said. She said she would be there tomorrow. She will be there. She will pick up another shampooer. She will not let the negatives of life get her down. SHE WILL SHAMPOO!!!!!!!
I hope you have enjoyed this little story. Tune in another day to read about the events of ILG.

Re: I'm Buying a House!!!
My daughter and her husband signed papers on another home. Tomorrow we will see if the inspection pans out! The last deal fell through because of a cracked foundation. Going with her to check it out tomorrow. If it's good - it's a done deal! Excellent location too!
Renda,
I found a lamp for your new house - we are speaking by faith here! LOL!
Just overlook the hairballs - what is that?!!!
Don't worry, the bird is dead!

You sure are exercising a lot of faith for someone who hasn't got the house yet!
Seriously, I pray if it is a blessing from God that all will go smoothly!
It looks beautiful from the pics!
Just the type of house that can be used to entertain a family from Canada!

Well, it is a true step of faith!
The house was listed with an agent and they haven't done a thing with it for six months. There's only two more weeks left of the contract, then the owner can sell it directly to me.
However, this past weekend there's been an offer which we half-way expected. The owner has declined the offer. We'll see how it goes........if this is the house for me - God will make a way. If it doesn't pan out, then it wasn't meant for me - - that's just the way I roll.
I'll be disappointed, but I know God directs my path!
