Oh, I forgot, you're referring to branded STANDARDS of conservative living.

It's almost apostasy to say God's Holiness has died ....

I am sure you seem to have missed the point.
Read the article and then lets discuss it.
The article is not referring to the Holiness of God... but the ideals of Holiness in many apostolic Circles.

It is hard to ignore something as important as "holiness" mislabeled. "Standards" are not "holiness". Never have been, never will be.
I wish OP's would use correct terminology.
I believe that calling "standards" holiness is a mistake from the Pentecostal Pioneers that no one wants to correct because it gives more weight to "standards" by equating them with "holiness".

I figured you all would have eaten ole Harrelson up by now.
I love the TBN point he makes.

Philip Harrelson is one of the brightest minds in Pentecost today. I am proud to have known him, and went to Bible College with him.

Harrelson:
Isn’t it ironic, that just as the holiness movement enters its waning years, the church at large is in its greatest need for a holiness movement? What does God want? I believe He wants a holiness movement. A new holiness movement.
Is this a call for separation???

My only comment is in agreement with some others: Holiness will never die. 1950's women's hair styles and "ostrich" approaches to real contemporary world issues will. Holiness has NEVER been described by clothing dimensions, styles etc. I believe in holiness. I preach holiness and separation. I also have tolerance for those who preach it differently than I do.
The problem I have with those who promote the views in the article I read is that they seem to have no tolerance for those of "other" views. They are the ones who are the self proclaimed protectors of the "holy grail" of "holiness."
Time will tell if these are of "that" ilke or not. My hope is that they will be men of the weightier matters of the law and respect and acceptance of those who don't cross the "T's" and dot the "I's" exactly the way that they do.

I have not yet read the blog, but I will say that I have no problem with Holiness, nor do I have a problem with separation, what I do have a problem with is when people call their separation ALONE holiness. You can most certainly be separate and not be holy, but it is impossible to be Holy without it showing up somewhere in your life. Even then we do not need to worship our separation, what we need to do is keep our focus on what CALLED us to be separate and set apart, then we will please God. I am not so sure that God is pleased with people who are separate but have no problem ripping others apart - wonder how some of them would have handled the Woman at the Well and dear ol Zach - I mean, after all Jesus fellowshipped with Sinners..... God forbid.....
This is just some thought in general... guess I better go read now....

God has always wanted a separated people. He called Israel to be separate. He also called us peculiar. Oh I know many here will pick this apart with their liberal mindset, but honestly I do not care if you do or not.
HIS people will live separated lives regardless of what the majority does.
Food for thought: what does it mean to come out from among them and be ye separate?
Also, touch not the unclean thing?
Who determines the unclean from a biblical standpoint?
