I don't know exactly who knew exactly what. I do know that this guy wasn't the only person who knew he was lying. My gut wasn't wrong before and it is not wrong now.

In G Bush book, he tells of talking to his father about this. His father salvaged Kuwait from Saddam. His dad says try and try and try diplomacy some more. Well saddam refused inspectors. He did not cooperate. Saddam was given generous time to cooperate.

Yeah, I know I'm late in starting a thread about this news item, but it burns me up KNOWING what I felt I already knew:

Maybe they will continue to be evil and never ask God for forgiveness for their deeds so that they can get what they deserve.

The people involved in decisions of this magnitude are usually not in a place to reap their rewards in this life-- and that's why they do what they do. They shield themselves and thier families from the heartache that their wickedness causes. Still, there is a GOD and I just have to trust Him that He will get these less than human scumsuckers that agreed with a lie that has affected, not just thousands, but millions of people.

I totally agree with you, but there is no way America can make it right. How can it be made right? Bush spoke about Hussein's grave yard, when his own grave yard of over hundreds of thousands of the people of Iraq, innocent children and women and the elderly killed over nothing but a LIE. And then the republicans never say anything about all these people killed by Bush and Cheney. Hussein might have been a dictator, but he knew how to handle the heathens of his country, and I believe that he was tried in a kangaroo court.

When Bush was asked what he felt was his worse mistake in office, it was not the killing of thousands of people over a LIE, but it was that he didn't privatize Social Security. I don't know how Bush, Cheney and Rice can sleep at night. If for no other reason, I would have changed my political party at that time, if I was a republican. Now look what is happening in our country today in Wisconsin, because of the republicans agenda. Shame Shame.
