I don't know why I think it's cool to view the steps. So view them with me.
Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie n’ Oreo Fudge Brownie Bar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups (12 ounces) milk chocolate chips
1 pkg Double Stuffed Oreos
1 Family Size (9×13) Brownie mix
1/4 cup hot fudge topping
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream the butter and both sugars in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed for 3-5 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well to thoroughly combine. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt, then slowly incorporate into the mixer until the flour is just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread the cookie dough in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish that’s been lined with wax paper and sprayed with cooking spray. Top with a layer of Oreos. Mix together brownie mix, adding an optional 1/4 cup of hot fudge topping to the mix. Pour the brownie batter over the cookie dough and Oreos. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 minutes.
To half this recipe for an 8×8 brownie mix, just half the chocolate chip cookie dough ingredients. Enjoy!
Merry Christmas, Margie!!!

I have a silver lazy susan with glass serving dishes. I'll put the dessert in the middle and put Graham crackers and gingersnaps in the other dishes.

PO, I bought the stuff to make this today. Except I didn't have the recipe with me at the store, so I was winging it. For some reason, I got it in my head that you crushed chocolate graham crackers and then rolled the cheese ball in it. So I bought some choco graham crackers. Think I'll try it that way just to see how it turns out
I can't wait to make this tomorrow. Thanks again for the recipe.

I'll have to check with my DIL on that. That is a recipe I wouldn't try if I made it. LOL! I don't eat boxed mixes or store bought cookies.

Re: Recipes for a Ladies Tea. Help??
Margie,
I am making this today, for tomorrow, and will let you know how this tastes!
Pecan Butter Cookies
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup honey
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
1/2 t. salt
Confectioners' sugar for rolling
1. In a large bowl, beat butter and honey at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, pecans, and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture. Cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 300. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake for 30 minutes or until set but not browned. Let cool for 5 minutes.
5. Roll cookies in confectioner's sugar. Let cool completely. Roll in confectioners' sugar a second time.
Anything with pecans will get my attention!

Re: Recipes for a Ladies Tea. Help??
PO, I made the cheeseball today. Dingy me thought that if a single recipe was good, a double recipe would be even better. Let me warn you - do NOT double this recipe!! You will be eating cheeseball all the way till next Halloween! Other than that tho, the taste is great!. But I must have done something wrong because it is far too soft. I'm hoping it will firm up in the fridge overnight. thanks again.
And by the way, I am with you on the PECANS. Mmmm

Margie,
My DIL and her mother loved the dessert, but said that the Double Oreos were a bit overwhelming. Her mother said that it would have been better to use regular Oreos and take the top off.
