That sounds really good. I'll have to send that to one of my sisters. I could go for it, except, I only like fresh cherries. I could totally do the frozen strawberries or blueberries- yummy! I use Cascadian Farm products.

Sour Cream PoundCake with Lemon Glaze
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
Pinch salt
1/3 t. baking soda
1 cup sour cream
2 t. lemon extract
1/2 t. vanilla extract
Lemon Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 T. fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 t. lemon zest
1. Preheat the over to 325. Grease and flour a 10-inch tub pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, and beat at low speed with a mixer for 1 minute, stopping to scrape the sides of the bowl. Increase the speed to medium, and beat for 2 minutes.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking soda.
4. In another bowl, mix the sour cream and extracts. Alternately add the flour and the sour cream mixtures to the batter until both are fully incorporated.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes before transferring the cake to the rack to cool completely.
6. To make the glaze, combine the powered sugar, lemon juice, and zest in a bowl, and beat until smooth. While the cake is still warm, poke holes into the surface with a skewer and drizzle the lemon glaze over the cake.

Yum! I am going to try this! The cake would probably be wonderful even w/o the glaze wouldn't it? Thanks!

You will love it! I think it would be good without the glaze, but it looks absolutely beautiful with it! The bundt pan really turns out a nice looking cake!

You are very welcome, Margie. Looks like Michael's got the Grilled Cheese covered. Just let him know what time to drop them off.

Michael's already dropped one thing at my house, Pressing ON. It was a long, long time ago and is a very long story But let's just say - I think I'll pass on his grilled cheese, thanks. Now, if his sweet mama was still here to make the grilled cheese, I would leave the lights on for her! Not for the grilled cheese (altho I'm sure it was great because she was a really good cook!), but just because I would enjoy visiting with her. On the other hand, I'd enjoy visiting with Mike again too. So he can come over, but I'll still pass on the grilled cheese.

I had to re-read this two times to figure out if I was being criticized or complimented! My conclusion? A little of both!

LOL! Thanks for not sharing what he dropped off at your house a long time ago. I'm sure we do not want to know.
Seriously, if you happen to decide on the Chocolate-Espresso Snowballs, let us know how you liked them. I do plan on trying out that recipe, just don't know when.
Hope your tea goes well! I'm sure it will!
