Rhoni,

I don't mean to be rude, but you really need to stop chastising posters on threads who are trying to dialogue with others.

Let's keep the flow of discussion going, and if there is any disciplinary action needed, Admin will handle it.

Again, not trying to be rude, but it really disrupts the chemistry of the discussions when someone keeps interrupting it to try to get one of the participants to back off.

Thanks.

Oh, I cant as I am surprised per say, just disturbed. I have been around enough, that this doesnt surprise me and I am completely capable of defending what I believe. But in this case, my defending what I believe will be taken wrong here, so its best, just not to. I dont want to make enemies, on my first week on AFF. LOL!

I believe it with all my heart...that is why I don't throw scriptures out to defend myself....I walk by faith. I have deep rooted convictions in my heart that God gave me.

Just keep standing Hspk...because if you don't stand for something...you will fall for anything. Just so you know that they're are UC on here!

Well thanks, I appreciate it. I was getting a tad worried. Remington and Sept5SavedTeen told me there wasnt that many UC on here anymore. I should have listened. haha!

How can we be enemies if we're brothers? As long as you would be willing to be open to a different perspective that might challenge your own, this is a great place to debate things. The problems come when (1) we make assumptions about the motives behind what someone else is saying, (2) we judge others for having different views on something, (3) we say things that are not true about what others believe (supposing that we know more about what someone else believes than what they do). A lot of times, when this happens in a debate, it's because we're so concerned with how we're going to respond to someone else while we're reading their post, that we don't really read it and try to understand what they are saying. A debate needs to have a foundation of "active listening" if anyone is going to learn anything on either side of the issue.

Not trying to say I know it all, but that's what I see happening here and in a lot of other threads on this forum.

Blessings!

You aren't making any enemies, Brother. For the most part, people around here are pretty good about separating the position from the poster. You're doing just fine. I'm glad you joined us here in the AFFland.
