Yup. Marinate in your fav Italian dressing for 2 hrs then grill/smoke at high temp with closed lid five min each side. Yummy!

Any good recipes, tricks, or marinades?

I gots to go put it together!
I've been wanting to try Mikes Hard Lemonade as a marinade :-)

Let the mean warm up to room temp...cooks more evenly

God is from the south. He just LOVES the smell of some good BBQ.

We will be grilling Halibut and Shrimp tomorrow for our 22nd Wedding Anniversary!

Then I have to go fishing with him - I'm so nice!!!

Digging, this is hilarious. Last time I went with him, he's casting away and I'm tired of casting my reel - soooo - I cast the line behind the boat and let it drag. I ended up catching more fish than he did. He told our son, "I'm never taking your mother fishing again!"

20And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour;
and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Teaching moment. BBQ is prepared after you leave the boat.

(except I have a stern rail mounted grill on my boat that reaches out over the water)

LOL... that is funny.

Be sure and out do him again this time too.

As a man I can tell you that there is nothing more aggravating than someone (especially ones wife) doing something that is "not the way you do it" (such as dragging a line behind the boat) and getting outdone. LOL

Good point!! I see another in Noah. He also taught that the food worth eating is always better when BBQ'd.

Man, I've gotta fire up the Webber!!!

Right!

I read an article, in one of his fishing magazines, a couple of years ago about an elderly black man that put a piece of red handkerchief on his hook instead of a lure. He caught a lot of fish with it!

I keep telling him I'm going to try that as he has about four or five tackle boxes full of lures HE NEVER USES!!

He said, "I wish you would so you'll stop talking about it!!!"

Tomorrow, I'm going to try it. Man, I hope I catch something!!! I'll let you know!!!!

Oh man, the pressure is on!! I hope I have a good story. It's so hot here that the fish are not biting! I did talk him into going in the evening as early morning is not going to work for me. I'm definitely not a morning person. We will have to check the tide charts!!!
