Oh, what a choice. Am I still missing the point of your offer?

It would make it easier for others of us who would like to read this, and easier for TL, if we just used the forum. Far as I know, admin mostly stays out of private stuff and would let a conversation proceed.

I don't understand why there is an argument. Some of you expressed a desire to dialog with this individual and I made it possible. He has already posted there.
If you are not interested, then don't worry about it

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Seems that "dialog," at least by the implication of prefix "di" , means two, (2, dos, deux, zwei.)
Nothing is already preventing anyone from a dialog with PTA outside of the kind of moderated discussion where everyone will (I predict) "pile on" according to the manner we are quite used to preaching to homosexuals.

Re: My First Gay Thread
Are people born gay? With some members of my family that are practicing homosexuals, I have to say the answer is no. People are not born gay. People are born with a choice however, and they can exercise that choice. With all the homophobia in and around America, though, I believe the Church should really do something it has not done in large part, and that is reach out to the homosexuals actively with the message of the Gospel.
From what I have seen, both in my family members as well as other homosexuals is the fact that they are walking wounded. They are hurting and put on this disguise of happiness when around people. They need Christ, just as the liars, the fornicators, and the murderers do, and we have an absolute command to go and preach Christ to these people without hesitation. And let me say this as well, that as believers, we must never ever be callous to anyone in sin, but must reach with His hands, speak with His voice, love with His heart, and give grace as He did on the Cross, and bring them in.

Re: My First Gay Thread
A sinner needs tough love, not mamby pamby grace love. There's "If you have not His Spirit, you are none of His" or "I never knew you, depart from me you worker of iniquity." Those are pretty tough pronouncements. No need to sugar coat it. If you are a homosexual, you are a vile, rank sinner. Period.

Re: My First Gay Thread
I know of at least three Apostolics who were formerly gay. Two are in ministry. One is now a church planter. God delivers!

Even if your struggling with it but refusing to act on it because you know it's wrong?
