What do you think?

Id like Morris to be right, but after he all but gauranteed a runaway win for Romney in the 2012 general election, i have a hard time taking his opinion seriously.

I don't put a lot of stock in anything Morris says. I'm surprised he is trying this again after he looked so foolish over the Romney loss, but a broken clock can be right at least twice a day. LOL!

Aside from that, there feels like solid strength with the Cruz campaign that the media knows but ignores.

The way I see it - Cruz stays calm, he stays focused, he stays on the issues and he speaks to everyone at his town halls - answers the hard questions -making the stipulation that you have to dialogue intelligently, no yelling or interrupting.

I also notice that when he is interviewed, the journalists listen to him and you can feel an underlying respect. That's just something that I sense.

For me as a supporter, I am not worried he will have a bad moment when a debate comes up or when I know he will be interviewed. He's solid. And I know that any negative thing we are hit with, there is solid truth to back him up. All the other stuff is baseless smoke and baseless distraction.

The average American, IMO, finds appeal in that.

Look at how Cruz engages with this angry farmer on the ethanol subsidy issue. The man is angry, against Cruz, and at the end he says he hopes he gets the farmer's votes. It's solid. (video embed)

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

First on CNN: Ted Cruz apologizes to Ben Carson

Cruz said in a statement Tuesday that his campaign staff saw a CNN report that Carson was dropping out, although CNN had not characterized Carson's actions that way.

"Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying that Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and South Carolina, our campaign updated grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story," Cruz said in a statement first shared with CNN. "That's fair game. What the team then should have done was send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out."

And here is CNN's Jake Tapper and his sidekick putting out the story 10 MINUTES BEFORE CAUCUS TIME. CNN of course, wants others to take the blame.

Ted Cruz Is A 'Natural Born Citizen,' Board Of Election Finds
"Further discussion on this issue is unnecessary."

A deafening birther debate over whether Cruz satisfied the constitutional standard for the presidency emerged in the months leading up to Monday's Iowa caucus -- fueled in large part by attacks from fellow Republican candidate Donald Trump, who wouldn't let up mere days before voting began.

As if addressing the magnate directly, the Illinois Board of Elections was conclusive in its findings: "Further discussion on this issue is unnecessary."

So one of 50 states has declared him eligible?

Apparently, they all have declared him eligible as he is on the ballots.

NH doesn't say he is not eligible, if that is what you are referring to. Cruz presented his side of the issue and the ruling states:

Quote:
As there is no obvious defect in the filing, and the question of "natural born citizen," is not answered with certainty so the Commission has no clear standard to apply, the task before the Commission is quite simple. The Secretary of State acted appropriately in accepting the filing of Senator Ted Cruz. Therefore, the action of the Secretary of State is upheld and the
challenge is not sustained, and Sen. Cruz'name will appear on the New Hampshire Republican Presidential Primary Ballot.

Note: At its hearing, the Commission was presented with another challenge to Sen. Cruz filed by one Dyas, and decided that it was covered by the decision in this case as well.

Finishing up with this tonight.

Carson ignores O'Reilly asking about all of this originating with CNN and insists that it's all Cruz's fault. Oh forever more.

Silly--I tweeted it out the moment CNN reported it it was all on them.

To put the Iowa win for Ted Cruz into perspective:

Ted Cruz beat Mike Huckabee's 2008 Iowa primary record by 10,000 VOTES!!! Impressive!!!

Jake Tapper confirming that the reports of Ben Carson suspending his campaign came from the Carson people.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

I hope that people are not missing what really happened in Iowa on Caucus night.

It's not just that Ted Cruz won, it's that he won standing against big corn and government subsidies. He won standing on his Conservative principles.

Come on America - let's win this thing!!!
