“Her clothes got tighter. Her hemlines got shorter …she wore improper underclothes,” and Fogarty added that he had his wife, Karen Fogarty, accompany Angela to shop for clothing.
“I am sorry Angela was hurt. But if you’re asking if I’m sorry I said she was a fornicator? No, I’m not. That is what I believe.”
This guy has a real problem. Improper underclothes? I wasn't aware there was such a thing. What in the heck is he doing examining her underclothing?
Sending his wife with her to shop?
This guy is a control freak.

This always drives me insane. It isn't ANYONE's business what a woman wears under her clothes. Good grief. Underclothes only matter to the people that see the underclothes--the woman and her husband.
I remember my pastor's wife giving me a tip one time to wear skin-colored undies so that they wouldn't show through white, but it was more "girl talk"--not a condemning statement! I would have been mortified if someone had taken my fashion faux pas to mean I was immodest or immoral.
No wonder she quit attending there. Too bad her husband didn't defend her against their pastor and go with her to a new church. The outcome of this situation might have been vastly different.

With that church, I'm sure that is all it would take for them to know she wore improper undergarments. It amazes me that people will stay in a church like this. Stuff like this is what gives UPCI a bad name. imo
I would like to know if you SE & GA UPC guys are proud that this is the guy that represents you on the General Board? Is he STILL the District Secretary of GA? Is he headed to the District Superintendents office next? WHAT ARE YOU GUYS THINKING?????

If you ask just anyone there they will no doubt give the canned response "We will leave when God directs us to" and since God always talks through the mouth of the pastor..... well, lets just say that it will be a VERY long time before God tells anyone to leave.
I just want to know what the UPC guys on here think about all this! He lied and continues to lie according to what I just read and the GA District Superintendent stood with him. A judge and jury spoke loud and simple - He LIED and it cost sombody $500,000.
In UPC of Georgia - they have rules against wearing Mickey Mouse Watches, Ball caps with a "B" for the Braves, split skirts of any kind, any kind of ring including wedding rings, lip gloss - I AM NOT KIDDING! I was there when they passed it! They have a Mustache & split skirt committee.
21 stupid rules and some of them simply racist! But - FOGERTY can lie in the pulpit and in the open court on a Bible and that is OK????????
Maybe Mr Driver will be the pastor of this church when Fogerty is elected as the Super of GA!
