I looked this up and it does sound exactly like her symptoms, i.e., the back pain, headache, etc. Thanks for the information. Hope you didn't mind me putting it back on the thread!

I deleted it because I didn't want you to have something else to worry about! And I could be wrong.

Right! Don't need that, but I was confused as to the back pain, headache, etc. That answered the questions, if it is true. I won't tell her about it, unless, the oral antibiotic doesn't appear to be working. She has enough on her mind.
Anyway, just got off the phone with her. She is dizzy from the antibiotics. None of us do well with medication. One aspirin and I am going to want to fall asleep. LOL! She can take some Acidophilus when she is finished with the antibiotic in order to return the friendly bacteria into her system.
They are saying they are going to release the baby tomorrow. Her husband has another week off and so she won't be alone. That's a good thing. Of course, I could be there for her, but it's more precious for her husband to be there and go through this with her.
Just getting him from turning blue to developing his skills will be nerve wracking, but we will get there - eventually.
Thanks for the info.

Exciting that he is supposed to be going home tomorrow!
Praying for your daughter as well - Trusting that yes, God know exactly what is going on and He has all of you in the palm of HIS hand !

Well, this didn't happen!
Pregnancy complications. Women who develop a kidney infection during pregnancy may have an increased risk of delivering low birth weight babies.

Thank you!
They have an Anne Geddes photo on the wall by the NICU nursery with this very thing - a small baby in a hand.

I am having all the faith I can muster right now. I just want it to be over. It's just too hard to relax at this point, but I am trying! If you knew all the things we have been through with this child, you would know why I feel the way I do. If anything bad could happen, it will happen to her. She's like a little Linus with a blanket and dust following her. Poor little thing. I just can't understand it. LOL! But, at least, at the end of each tunnel, she gets the victory!
Every time I get worked up, I tear out more of my kitchen floor! LOL! 75% accomplished! I have to move the buffet and dining table to complete the rest. I so needed this physical exertion - hammer and chisel! One broken nail and no callouses! LOL!

That's interesting. I hate the medical field. It's just way too complicated for my little brain!!! LOL! Okay, I don't hate it as it is needful, but there's too much involved and not always diagnosed correctly. And they keep changing things - this will give you breast cancer, this will help, found it it doesn't help and only hurts you in the end......
After my rear-end collision, I couldn't even relax at the Chiropractor under acupuncture, which is supposed to BE relaxing! I just wanted to get out of there! LOL!

They have to cover ALL possibilities, so yes, it's very confusing.
At least she is already on an antibiotic - - she'll be a new person by tomorrow - just make sure she takes ALL of it!

Yes, my husband reassured her she would be okay in a couple of days.
Well, they wanted Chicken Enchiladas, which she isn't supposed to eat, so I am about to deliver the meal. I don't know how to make enchiladas unless they are spicy. Anything else just tastes like watered down tomato soup. LOL! At least her husband will have something to eat.
