Sometimes people can be distraught or feel overwhelmed emotionaly and say things they really shouldn't say.

You know, I got up and made a pitcher of kool-aid after you posted that pic of a Kool-aid pitcher.
Now I'm enjoying that along with the cool evening breeze that has come up and you are starting to make better sense.

You must be drinking a very rare blend of kool-aid if you think you can do that.

I just need to play act here since we are throwing everything into the pot. Wouldn't we make a grand jury locked up in a room around a table deliberating!!! LOL!
How did they know they could get that much? Right! They found out a little about the offices he holds. Who told him that? Right! The Plantiff. Who told the Plaintiff that she could up her ante on the settlement if she had some medical attention? A lawyer doesn't TELL you to do these things, but they can make awesome subtle suggestions.

We're all sinners here (except Michael the Disciple). I think that we can all see how such a circumstance can occur. Most of us have been in OP services and seen just this sort of thing coming from some of the "nice guys" that we know.

Re: UPC Pastor Convicted of Slander in Pulpit!
I did something I truly regret, not time long ago on the job I got in trouble for something that was unfair and unjust, and someone put somebody else up to getting me in the office,I was upset and said things that should not have, but I was very upset and let my emotions get the best of me,now I was wrong, even though I was done unjustly my response should have been different.

Pel, I know it's extremely long, but how much of this thread have you really read? All the crying over the "bikini" came from others, not me. The jury didn't seem to care about the "bikini" and it's a total non-issue for me. The cajun's post states how he can seperate his personal feelings about "bikinis" and the women who wear them from the facts of this case. He further states that he sees the pastors errors for what they are.

One should be careful what one says over the pulpit, and one should not say things across the sacred desk in anger and frustration, using wisdom can keep one out of a heap of trouble.
