I would be if his wife had not have been in a compromising situation for an Apostolic.

Still think it's odd to be dressed that way and in the presence of another man - a man who you are NOT married to. I'm a conservative woman, in many ways, and that just strikes me as odd. I would fear for my life if my husband knew I had done something like that AND if he walked through the gate, I would probably start running! LOL! RUN Forest!!!!!

HAHAHAHA!!!! ME, TOO!!!!! No, I'd probably pass out from fear, and not wake up until I'd formulated my story.

The obvious elephant in the room.

His wife did not commit fornication/adultery.... or at least she denies it, and they never gave any proof otherwise.
Nevertheless, he wanted to remarry, apparently in a church that only allows it in the case of adultery. So, they trumped up something on her to give him a reason to remarry.
That is very suspect in my opinion.

Do we know if she is, or was ever, Apostolic?

I wouldn't, couldn't do that without some serious motives in mind that would include great disregard for my husband and potentially the aim to attract the other man. Ergo, it's hard for me to identify with her having some sort of innocent motive. And I found myself immediately annoyed with her. LOL!!!

She has no excuse in my book. Sure we can be tempted, but how far you extend yourself in that temptation is another thing.

I'm assuming she was a member of the church at some point, but I don't suppose the article actually says one way or the other. She definitely wasn't a member at the time of her divorce, or later when the slanderous statement was made.

Well, I was just thinking that the pastor was addressing his church on the situation as she used to be a member. She sure took a long time to say she just heard about his remarks. I found that odd also, Bratti. First night something is said the phones are hopping. LOL!

AQP,
I'm not showing up in a bikini unless I have adulterous/fornication issues in my life. Just sayin'...
But, someone needs to show something that says it is not a fact. I thought that it was conclusive.

That doesn't apply to 99.8% of the American population ... you're an abnormal anomaly
