Camile needs to go out the airlock. Not just because she has a lesbian lover back "at home," but she just reeks annoyance. I always suspect there's going to be some sort of preachy "inclusive" nonsense whenever a "gay" character comes on - but she'd probably set the "gay" cause back several years.

Yeah, I don't like her character...and now that I know she is a lesbian my "doesn't like miltary types" view has slighty morphed into "hates men", but I admit that just might be my stereotypical way of viewing lesbians ....what a fun show.
BTW she isn't just the "civilian authority" but isn't she also supposed to have been Red China's rep to the civilian oversight committee?
BTW she seems to have tamed a litle towards Young and vice versa, but that "Civilans are smarter and you are just a jarhead" tension still exists. She seems to have discovered in the last episode that you can't always "win" through politics.
the last episode bothered me though because while they finally got Diamonds character more into play, he is shot dead, or so it seems and TJ was also shot....it ended just that way

Oh and Greer scares the mess out of me. I'd hate to meet him in a dark alley. I keep expecting him to go "Jason" on them, but in a fight I would want him on my side. When he says "I have the shot sir!" I imagine Egor "Oh please let me cut him, just a pinky, pleeease" or something like that lol

Yeah, Greer. The flashbacks to his childhood were illuminating. I'm still wondering why he was in the brig when the attack came in the pilot. I think it was Telford's doing?

TJ looked to have been shot in the abdomen. That pretty much makes her "pregnancy" a cliffhanger as well. I love children, but in this setting having a baby seems to be a bit over the top when it comes to manipulating the audience's feelings.
I think both Telford and Kiva will "pull through." LDP's acting experience really came through when he was interacting with both groups. He said a lot more just with a facial expression than most of the other actors could say reading their scripts. He's a pro and I was disappointed when it looked like he was set to be the continual "bad guy."
I can see Kiva and Camile, you know, "joining forces" sometime next season.

Yeah, I don't care for "social engineering". It ruins the show. I don't give a hoot about a lesbian affair. I want to see green alien guts sprayed all over the place

Re: Been Watching StarGate Universe?
SG1 was pretty cool. In case anyone did not know the first main character was the guy from McGyver . He plays Colonel Jack O'Neil. There were episodes where they said things like "Im just gonna McZGyver it" referring to just "juryrigging"something. There were a lot of interesting things like that.

He hit Telford if I remember.

I am mostly caught up and just have to watch the last episode today on DVR. The reason they have the Lucian Alliance folks join them is for further fractional intrigue and also to replenish the crew. They lacked enough people and specialists to further the show.
Now with the Lucian alliance folks they have new military, scientist, and others who can be used as a wild card of talents when needed and also a fresh source of new people and situations.
And because the 2nd naquidah planet blew up with the last of the specialists who could make it the gate push out that far into Destiny's stargate they are still trapped together.

I like Greers character. He is a interesting person who has no problem executing any order he is given in a situation. Its not that he is immoral, its just he has no moral compass other than following orders from a man he respects.
