Royalty: Feeling you and your position is superior to those you are leading or talking to. Usually a feeling that needs to be continually reinforced through a circle of "yes" men. The more bobblehead the better.

I agree with a lot of things I hear but usually don't shout "preach it!". Usually I nod inwardly just like Hank, Bill, Dale, and Boomhauer -"Yep", "Ya", "uh huh".

And the sincerest person in politics is the person who trusts in the people more then in the government and is willing to concede power and responsibility to them despite the fact that it may cost them an election.

I would say, yes. They are enjoying themselves and the people are enjoying what they are listening to. Everyone is happy, and they are feeling fine.

Oh there is so much to say. LOL

The main reason I do not get into "deep" conversations is that I rarely have more then minutes at a time to post (and am not a fast typer).

Do I believe that everyone on the platform is dripping with arrogance? Not at all, but it IS a culture that breeds a highers elevation in life to the man on the platform then to the lowly sheep beneath him. It needs constant reinforcement, -the men who "sit higher then the sheep" on the platform, as well as the noise of encouragement from the sheep themselves.

I have never heard someone make so many good points yet twist it into a preconceived notion to this degree! (OK, maybe I have with young earthers.....) He (Nathaniel J. Wilson) makes GREAT points about biblical PRINCIPLES and how you cannot over legislate, yet turns around and somehow uses it to SUPPORT current legislation (including facial hair and ALL the apostolic traditions).

What kind of culture? Midwest, Californian? South Cali, North Cali? How about South East Florida compared to South West Florida? Brother, my point is that we can only assume what you are saying applies to those good Elders on the platform. They are seasoned men who have been at it for a long time, and have a large group of people wanting to hear what they have to say. You even said that you agreed with a lot of what they preached? Did you not? Although you were not agreeance with other statements made you can amen most of what was said. These men, love the people and families that they preach and teach.
