What about your daughters shall prophesy from Acts 2:17 ?
Or 1 Cor.11 about women prophesying in the church ?
Acts 2:17 fits and does not contradict with the fact that women can prophesy to anyone without shame to herself before God, except for men living righteously. Men living righteous usurp authority over women regarding ministry, and Paul himself said Women should remain silent in that case.
From 1 Cor 11:3, it is clear the figurative 'covering' of the woman's head is the man. If she prophesies righteously, it is as if she were shaven, because she has no righteous man over her, which is a sign of shame to the collective of ungodly men she is setting straight.
However, if there is a righteous man among them, it is a shame for her to prophesy, therefore let her head be covered, ie let the man usurp authority over her, and suffer her not to speak, that he may instruct.

I appreciate your study of the word.

There they can find plenty of fault.
Somewhere in scripture it says that even some demons can speak in tongues., Hmmmm..indeed.
I guess you think they're saved?, lol
Baptism in the titles of father son and holy ghost does not give the NAME.
which is JESUS., so yes there IS a BIG difference that matters, for salvation.
bye now.
Rom 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. Rom 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Rom 14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Rom 14:4Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Im sure glad you are not my God but I answer to God not man.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Eph 2:8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
I don't judge people on whether they speak in tongues, Jesus said they shall know you are my diciples by your love one for another. Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
So no I don't judge others as to whether they are saved based on such little foundation as speaking in tongues or what was said by the preist or minister when they were baptized. And no I don't blindly obey the pastor or ministry just becuase they say they hold that office.
Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It seems Paul's view of women in 1 Timothy 2:13-14, is that they are more prone to deception. It's true women are generally more led by emotion than men, due to their nature (perhaps as a mechanism of child-rearing). The serpent apparently knew this and took advantage of it. Adam wasn't deceived, but was seduced into following after Eve (he knew what he was doing was wrong, but did it anyway). Maybe this is somehow related to how men would respond to false doctrine being taught them by a woman. Perhaps if the precedent is set of a woman being above a man, and she begins teaching false doctrine, would the easily seduced man be more prone to tolerate her false doctrine and 'play along' than in the case of a male preacher?
Whereas if the woman is the taught, and the man is her teacher, she can receive correction from the man's (hopefully) more objective, less emotion-driven view concerning doctrine.
I'm aware there are lots of generalities here regarding the genders, but Paul must have said what he did for a good reason.
Just look around, lol
I agree that we women are lots more emotional than men, in looking back at many of the stupid unwise decisions i've made, I can truly admit that most of them were based purely on emotion. *sigh* that popular saying "follow your heart, not your head(brain)" that many women I've known ( self incl in my past ) base their decisions on, says a mouthful. Honesty and/or TRUTH, speaks LOUDEST.

Are there any examples of women pastors in God's word. No. I believe ministering to other women in women's ministries but not in the main congregation. No

There always seemed to be a contradiction in 1 Corinthians chapter 11 and chapter 14. In 11 Paul says IF a woman prays or prophesies, and in 14 he says that women need to keep silent period.
I have two thoughts:
1. Women should keep complete silence in church unless they are given a prophetic revelation by God that would edify the church
or
2. Since chapter 14 deals mainly with speaking in tongues, women have no right whatsoever to excercise that gift. However, due to the implication in chapter 11 they can prophesy as God wills it.
Understand this is not how I feel, just some thoughts.
A thought on the whole covering and long hair/short hair issue: Veils come in all sizes and they arn't styled atop the head with all sorts of pretties...they cover it completely. A woman's hair should completely cover her head when she prays or gives a prophetic word...lol face and all.
Such as those who explain away, I Tim. 2:11-14????
Honestly, this whole "woman preacher" stuff is just incoherent non-sense. Scripture couldn't be plainer, & no matter how many extra-biblical "confirmations" they supposedly receive, they still have black & white print staring them in the face that says "NO"! Let God be true & every man a liar...............
God does not contradict His written Word, but the problem is w/ out of place women in the American church as a result of the modern feminist movement. In sum, they simply are doing what they want to do [self-will] operating under the guise of "obeying God's call". Not hardly. Remember, it was when Satan became dissatisfied w/ his God given place & said "I will ascend..." that he was kicked out of heaven.
I honestly fear for women preachers in eternity.....seriously.
