I wish I could hear Him better. And not like a super-sensitive type who interprets every heart murmur and house-settling crack as a sign from Him, and needs His direction for literally every step they take (otherwise they are lost).

I want to really know the heart of God. What his desires are, his purpose, his love.

To live in His presence, for God to say of me that I follow Him wholeheartedly and that I am His friend.

Truth.

It is in truth that I know Him.
It is in error that that I mistakenly worship another.

It is by the truth that I am made free.
It is error that makes a slave of God's own children.

It is with truth that I will make others free.
When I walk in error I am simply a blind man leading blind men.

You see...

In the beginning was the word.
The word was with God and the word WAS God.
"Thy Word is truth"
The word (truth) was made flesh.

We cannot worship God without seeking truth with all of our strength because we discover God when we discover truth for God is truth.

Truth sets us free.
It is through truth that we are sanctified.
My God, per His own word, is truth therefore truth is my God.

He and truth are one.

The truth is all I need.
I need all truth.

When I discover truth all else I could wish for in Him becomes mine.

In my search for truth I have discovered one firm truth. When I decide I have all truth or I decide that all I know is true... it is then I know I have lost the battle and truth will never be mine

Relationship. To where we walk hand in hand through everything together. I feel that I have this fairly often, but there are times when I don't feel Him at all. Those are the times I feel confused and wonder what life is all about.

For him to be my Daddy. He can only be what we allow. Because of being hurt and abused by my dad, I became stoic, guarded and repressed. The only way I could relate to God is as a friend. He is someone I talked to every so often, I prayed to him as a friend talks to another friend. He is a buddy...But OH that is so lacking and contrary to the HG whose cry is to ABBA Father. Many Dads cannot be good Dads because we did not have good Dads as role models. Let God be my Dad is my prayer....
