Re: Favorite Movie of All Time

There certainly are movies that bother me to watch. I personally don't get anything out of the torture movies or movies that revel in human depravity. Not my thing at all - though I do like some horror movies. I still stand by my list though. Most of which have positive themes and redeeming characters.

- Unforgiven

- Shawshank Redemption

- The Fisher King

- Heat

- 12 Monkeys

- Slingblade

By the way, I think Leap of Faith is a great movie, but it certainly pushes the PG limits at times.

I wouldn't put Leap of Faith on my top 10 favorite list, but it was pretty good.

yeah, I'm in agreement. I wasn't giving it top 10 status, but I saw it as a teen, and kind of blew it off, and didn't pay much attention to it (since I wasn't interested in church or faith, or anything of the sort). I want to see it again, because I think it would be much more interesting, since I am now aware of the antics of "the Hinn".

There is one scene in that movie that stands out to me. It is when his (Steve Martin's) fake healings are exposed while on stage, yet somehow manages to preach himself out of it. I don't know if I would call it my favorite part, but to me, it is the most poignant.

Re: Favorite Movie of All Time

Just watched FIREPROOF last night. It was a really good movie. Funny too, even though it is a serious movie. I would recommend it!!
