Let me make myself clear on something tho, ok? I'm not finding fault with people dressing up for worship. I think that's fine. I don't do it. I wear nice slacks and tops for church and occasionally a dress, but never anything fancy cuz I'm not a fancy dressing kind of person. But it's fine with me if people do. UNLESS #1) the people dressing up look down their noses at people who don't or can't dress up like them and #2) if they spend excessive amounts of money on clothes and duds and then can't or won't give to help the needy.

I totally agree with your points. 
Perhaps that women in leadership was a giver. If that is true, I have no problem with her spending money on her daughter's clothes. That isn't something I would do because they outgrow them so quickly. Of course, if she bought it knowing that she can turn around and get $150 or so back, then it was a good deal for her. I'm sure that is exactly what she did. I know a lot of people who do this very thing - resale locally, or ebay, etc.
Another thing and this is just me - when I see people buying, I know our economy is working and some business owner is paying their bills after a hard day at work. American Capitalism!

I used to dress up, but I looked so awesome that I had to stop. It was distracting.
