My 2 year old Prayed last night!

My 2 year old Prayed last night!

Every night we pray before Levi goes to bed. For about the last year he has said “AMEN” when we are done. After Dada (first word) and Mama (second), “Amen” was one of the very first words he ever spoke. But last night was way different. We said our prayers and Melissa rocked him as is their custom. But while she was rocking him he bowed his head, covered his eyes and began to talk in that 2 year old gibberish, but you would hear interspersed words that he knows “PawPaw, TT (that is my sister), dada, moma….then at the end he said “AMEN!”

Wow. Last night was one of those unbelievable moments that we will treasure forever. He cant even talk but he is learning to pray!

That is awesome Ferd!
But remember he prays because he hears & sees mommy & daddy pray.

You have a right to be pleased, proud, & thankful!

amen to that.I took my babies into the prayer room with me as I have always wanted them to feel comfortable around travail and the move of Gods Spirit. That is commendable of you to be such a good example that the littlest one even prays.

i think praying with babies is as important as feeding them honestly. a lot of sundays I take him to the alter with me to pray. At prayer meetings I hold him as we walk and pray.

Now if I can just get it to take.... 30 minutes later he was in time out!
