So, how much does GF cost? That was the original question. I was told it cost in the low seven figures and doubled from last year to this year. Someone else says half mill. What is the truth?

I agree Dizz. I don't think HQ could or should MANDATE this. I think it should be a leadership challenge taken up by those with influence. Change the culture of the UPC by trying to eliminate factionalism and ministerial competition and re-focus and re-prioritize efforts on more profitable and productive issues. Why do we spend so much time preaching to/at each other? Why not get back to having more district and sectional conferences instead of all the boutique conferences? Idk, it made no sense when I was in, and even less now that I'm out.

I wonder if big conventions are a thing of the past. It used to be that Oneness folks were so isolated from the rest of the world that they needed these types of events in order to fellowship. I remember loving youth congress and youth conventions because it was a place that I could be a pentecostal and not feel out of place.

I sold them on Ebay. haha.

Seriously, I did. I put them on Ebay yesterday afternoon and they all sold last night to some guy in Spain. Gonna have to go buy some more from my neighbor. I made $30 a pair on the first batch. I think I'll bump the price $10 each on the next batch and see what happens.
