I can't answer for Mike, but personally I believe that every prophecy has been fulfilled - at least in type (please note that last part!). This still leaves most of the prophecies of the Bible to be fulfilled as well, of course. Many of them they will be fulfilled numerous times before the eschaton, or the "Last Thing."

I am PARTIAL preterist. There is still a rapture, and coming of Jesus in the sky and the end of the world with a final judgment. But great trib, the beast, etc, are all fulfilled.

By PRETERISM, does the initiator of the thread mean FULL or Partial, or either? Not ALL prophecy is fulfilled.

The main prophecies I agree with futurists about, that are not yet fulfilled, are ...

* The coming (parousia) of Christ
* The day of the Lord
* The resurrection of the dead
* The rapture of the living
* The (final) judgment
* The end of history

This is probably the most sensible thing that I've read in quite a while concerning preterism, except for the first sentence before the dash.

Yeah and because I believe MATT.24 is fulfilled I'm a devil and a heretic to many,event hough I don't try to push that off on people, but I do believe Jesus Christ was God manifest in human flesh,nor do I see long hair on women as magical.

I left out "almost" before the dash. "Almost every prophecy..." There are obviously some things which concern the "last things" alone. My bad.

And I'm no preterist. More of an idealist. I just can't fit the writing of the book of Revelation into the earlier time period required by preterism. It seems to me to have been written after the destruction of Jerusalem.
