What about me? Just something to think about. Res 3 just clarified categories and is not a new rule of UPCI law.

How can there be a file with your name on it after all these years? Something to think about! I doubt any such file exists.
I wonder about all the guys still holding license that have done worse deeds....

Surprisingly, I saw the file earlier this year when I approached the DS about the possibilities. He ensured me that there is a copy in the filing cabinet close to JJ's hand and that although I would likely be approved at the district level, the content of the file would get me shot down at the national level. :d
I am accepting of the decisions and moving forward in His will! It is just a shame rules prevent the UPCI from doing the same from time to time.

Hmmm, and DOUBLE hmmm..
Quite a number of years ago, a particular event took place in the life of an evangelist I know well. A combination of other folks hatefulness, and his own reaction to a particular problem caused him to lose out with God for a number of years. While your situations were vastly different, if one were to go by the letter of the law, he would be ineligible for license again. However, after he prayed through and was back in church a couple of years, he re-applied for his license...and you know? The file was missing on national level as well as district? Amazing, isn't it?

Just stupid, I say stupid. You'd think time and a good record would wipe out any old one. AND, as we all know there are some preaching this weekend that have NO business doing so.

I agree with you about his situation. AMEN to this entire post. Amazing how some things are overlooked when they "need to be" by those in command. Sorry to hear about your situation, philjones.

Phil, God is going to open the proper doors in his time. Just hold on to the promised that God has made you and the dreams he has put in your spirit.

Thanks, all, for your kind words. I am content in the Lord and His will for my life. I am working toward a greater availability to the Kingdom and I think that is a prerequisite for my calling to be fully realized.

Bro. Phil, there are definitely inequities in how the system works, and you are an example of when it is not working correctly. I guess all that we can do is pray and let God work things out, the way that only he can do. I appreciate your testimony and your spirit!

Thanks, DD!
The fact of the matter is that if I hadn't made a long ago mistake the wheels of justice, no matter how out of round, would never have started to turn.
I made the mistake and forced men to make judgments according to a rule that they may or may not have agreed with but were elected to enforce.
I harbor no ill will and in fact have sought their forgiveness for the bitterness I held against them for so long!
I am a blessed man!
The sum of my testimony is "His Grace is Sufficient!"
