Let me tell you ALL...Thad sounds so much better! For those of you who have talked to him in the last 2 weeks, he was not coughing every 15 seconds. He had a little spell after drinking something cold...doctor said no to that.

Right now, waiting for him to pick me up. Heading to get something to eat and then going to an outing with his choir. They are singing at some community event.

had a slight setback not much sleep either but i am pressing my way!!

we are singing at some dinner tonight- chief of police is speaking and other leaders plus some other groups singing from the community.
It's a free banquet for everyone - even our church is invited. all the "in the meantime" folks will be there LOL

Generally, when someone else is demanding that you change who you are to please them, or God, that list of demands is continually changing. Yeah, the no doctors ones always get to me, in my observations those rules usually change right about the time the Pastor or someone in his family start to have serious health problems.

Actually, our church was a no medicine church... but we took them and told no one. The preacher did not and one day he was walking over to church to preach and died. No one knows why he died because he had never gone to a doctor.

Sister, I don't know the situation that you are refering to, but I do know that for charges to be brought against a preacher, it cannot be just on accusation based on hearsay. Someone directly involved in the situation has to be willing to bring charges against the preacher, and in many, many cases, people are not willing to bring formal charges.

The person that he had an affair with did and it was due to an unethical situation on his part but maybe because it was her word against his they did not do anything?
