Let me tell you ALL...Thad sounds so much better! For those of you who have talked to him in the last 2 weeks, he was not coughing every 15 seconds. He had a little spell after drinking something cold...doctor said no to that.

Right now, waiting for him to pick me up. Heading to get something to eat and then going to an outing with his choir. They are singing at some community event.

We are on the same wavelength here. The treatment of the SAINT was ugly!

This was not a person with a relationship with God at all. Extremism is a mild term.

I am Conservative, but not to the point to care what someone does in their private lives. At some point it indeed is cultic.

What is worse is the mention of the 10 member church that churned through 300-400 lives in a few short years.

Such wanton destruction for NOTHING!
I started the day with that great post by Michael Phelps on churches with no power. I replied "A church that had 17, 17 years ago and now still has but 15 has something wrong with it. Living organisms grow and multiply."

[34] O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

You know there comes a time when Jesus Himself quits dealing with people and HE gets angry...there are thing God hates. I cannot believe for one minute that Jesus approves of this kind of thing and I refuse to keep quiet any longer. Besides...the scriptures you so kindly provided are directed toward the religious leader...interesting isn't it?

Not really my point. My husband struggles to provide for us, because the leaders in our church would not let him go to college (or anyone else). It appears they make changes only when it applies to their families.

When your life becomes someone elses, when you try to become whatever it is that the others want you to be, a little of you dies every day.

Generally, when someone else is demanding that you change who you are to please them, or God, that list of demands is continually changing. Because they don't even know what it is that they need or expect, it is usually a deficiency in themselves that causes them to behave the way they do. They are not happy with who they are. I had a nervous breakdown before I realized this. It has taken me years to regain myself, and there are parts of me that I feel will forever be lost. But God is good!! He has been faithful to me!

Sorry, SENSITIVE subject!!! LOL!

Yeah, the no doctors ones always get to me, in my observations those rules usually change right about the time the Pastor or someone in his family start to have serious health problems.
