As typical Pentecostals we were the last ones to leave the restaurant that night after it closed! (we werent rude though as they were still there cleaning the kitchen, etc).

We seriously did consider asking the waiter to bring us some empty beer botles to take a pic of us "toasting" each other to post on AFF but I don't think the meeting NLYP would have to have with his DS and the La. District Board would have been fun afterwards so we thought better of it. LOL!!!!
I've eaten there when I flew into Nashville. It's not too far from the airport. Right? I wasn't very impressed with it, but it was ok.

It is not a "must go to" place but out of the three or four times I have eaten there over the last eight years all of the times but one the food was very good. The one time I was not impressed was with a pasta and chicken dish. The pasta was musy. The other times the food was good though.

I like to find local estabmlishments with good food to steer people to when they come from out of town so they won't have the same old Chilis, Applebees, etc food. This one was also close to the airport and NLYP's hotel.

This visit I had Steak Oscar at a price not much more than many lunch entree's at similar restaurants. The value was outstanding.

It is like stepping back into the 50's. The service and food is excellent or was 14 years ago. I did recommend it to a friend and he took his wife there on their anniversary and they said it was real good. I would like to go again.
