How many people don't want a lot of children but they want

a "BIG" church! Why do some men want to marry a woman who

already has children! And how many people want a church some-

one else had fathered and raised to be productive! How many

people want to buy a business that isn't producing. Someone

had to suffer in the beginning. The old pilgrims and pioneers had

to go through the "rough" times.

Just some thoughts!

Blessings,

That's what I was thinking...one little shot could have saved his life.

You would have had to go to the doctor to get it. Therefore, it wasn't available to him.

How sad, and what a needless death.

Two comments:
This is 2007 and we have great medical advances but this wasn't a rare unusual disease.
My grandfather died in 1926 from blood poisoning; they didn't have todays' antibiotics and he didn't go to the doctor for a few days. But to die from such a wound today is just wrong!

There was a family in the church I grew up in that did not believe in using doctors. He delivered their four children at home. The last birth was difficult ( early 1950's) and the child was mentally challenged because of it. Once again, the medical care of the day could have prevented this.

It's great to believe in divine healing but God also gave us a good sound mind, use those brain cells!

Only God knows how many people have died needlessly due to this kind of teaching. I know of five people that have gone out "trusting God" that could have been saved. My opinion is that people who go out this way are committing a form of suicide.

nope the health unit has it.I am sure with that many children they must have
gotten school shots.People don't realize how a tetnus shot is a good thing.
You can walk out of doors and step on something and get tetnus and
then lock jaw.
