"Me" nothing wrong with abstaining from anything that one is not beneficial. Paul even spoke about not drinking wine of it causes a weak brother to stumble. The weak would be the ones that stumble at wine drinking. Charity says don't drink it around them if it offends them.

Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

So we have just as much obligation to be careful of what we eat in front of a weak brother or sister as do we abstaining from drink.
How's that look in practice at fellowship meetings?
No pie or cake around those that struggle?
Serious question.

Food gets a pass usually, but should apply to anything

So since God once winked at ignorance but now calls all men to repentence, are we held to account for what we eat just as strongly as if we were drinking in front of a weaker brother?
Will Little Debbies endanger ones salvation just as much as a 6 pack?
Will there be people in hell over this if its to be the same standard?
Why or why not?

The context concerns "doubtful disputations", disputes about what is acceptable to God or expected by God from us, about which there is no clear Scriptural guidance.
To stumble or offend means to cause to sin or fail in their walk. It does not mean "to cause upset or irritation or disagreement."
The point of Paul's teaching is in a matter of personal preference, we are to be careful not to pressure our brethren into doing things they themselves are not confident is the will of God, because if they do they are still in doubt and not living by faith, which is sin.

I see no issue with that. Wine would fall under personal preference, would it not?

For the most part, yes.
