I began attending a church that taught the oneness doctrine. I knew no difference between oneness and Trinidadian doctrine.

Re: How did you become "Oneness"?
When we were teens, Paul Price and others would talk about getting the "revelation."
When we were college students, there was no mention of it at all. When we asked, Dan Segraves told us the Scriptures were sufficient for explaining who God is. He questioned the need for a "revelation" apart from the Bible.
That was the last time I heard or discussed the "revelation" in Bible college.
In Wisconsin, "the revelation" was never mentioned, ever.
That is my experience.

Re: How did you become "Oneness"?
I've heard of the "revelation" mentioned by Divine Flesh believers.
You needed to get the "revelation"

Maybe unique to the Western District? Everyone in my church testified and thanked God for the revelation. Everyone had a cool story to tell.
One woman would tell of the time she was standing at the kitchen sink washing dishes. She had a vision of what she thought she would see in heaven. She saw the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Not sure how she saw the Father and the Holy Spirit, as they are invisible), and then the Father and the Holy Spirit were absorbed into the body of the Son.
Then it clicked, the Oneness of God (book title?) was revealed to her. So she resigned from her position at the local Assembly of God and began to attend the United Pentecostal Church.

Getting the revelation was a big phrase in the Socal area.
