Problem is, if she sues, it will just be her neighbors (taxpayers) who ultimately foot the bill.

Until officers can be held personally accountable for false arrest and illegal detention and assault under colour of law, this kind of stuff will continue.

As it is, official immunity protects all the bad apples...
