America has a SERIOUS cop problem!

Listen to her blood-curdling screams for help. No one helps her.

Why isn't this clear case of abuse getting more press time?

Because white people see police brutality and automatically give the benefit of doubt to cops. Minorities don't give cops the benefit of doubt because too many of us have been abused too often.

We yell. We express rage. We protest. Some of us go too far, carried away by our rage and there's no defending that.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, you have white people. Police brutality doesn't make them yell. They do not express rage. They do not protest.

Their silence enables this junk!

The only reason she is ALIVE is because she is a WOMAN.

i would caution you not to think that way, to divide this up "white" and "minority." Even if cops do, in their treatment of us. I am white, and i know lots of crackers who protest police abuse along with me. Granted, a minority, but.

Well I wouldn't want my point about police brutality in this country to be dismissed over the fact that I stated the obvious.

It is OBVIOUS this lady is being abused. If you read the article, it says that she was actually charged with assault!

If it wasn't for someone with their cell phone...

She was resisting arrest. If she was innocent, why is she screaming? It doesn't make sense. Any sane person, who hasn't been drinking or indulging in drugs, knows that when you are being arrested, you have to cooperate. You will have your day in court.

If I resist arrest I deserved to be roughed up enough to arrest me. Did you watch the video? She was being held down while the other officer punched her. Any sane person would know that is police brutality.

for what it's worth, CopWatch has an app that uploads live video as it is being shot, in case the phone gets confiscated.

There is no beginning filmed in this video. We don't have a path from A to B. The Officer said she was resisting arrest. So, let's find out more. The video only shows her acting like a maniac. She acts like she's drunk. There is no way I would act in that manner if I was arrested. It's pointless and you will only bring harm on yourself. So, what would be the point? She's drunk?

If she wants to act like a flipping maniac, yea. People need to stop overreacting. Just like the older Hispanic man in Texas, who everyone was siding with. After the Grand Jury decision was brought out - the conclusion was that he was resisting arrest, just like I said.
