Not according to Jesus

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Or Paul.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Is not Jesus at the right hand of God?

Acts 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Is the head in heaven not a many member body because they are together as one?

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit

I think so

Do you believe that all truth is determined by the presence of two witnesses of God's Word and not your opinion?

If not you need to!

FYI it is His Body here on earth that is not one with Him in Heaven, and why the son of man has nowhere to rest His head on a holy body on earth that is without sin........ at least not yet

Just want to go on record that I agree with Livelystone on the subject of the rapture and resurrection.

Bless you,

For sure you did not learn this from a man but from our Father in Heaven.

The unfortunate thing is most Christians do not grasp the importance of us knowing the truth of the resurrection.

The reason why it is so important is because the doctrine of the resurrection is one of the foundational doctrines listed in Heb.6:1-2 that the knowledge of the truth of is not only required of us before God can move us forward into the perfection required within the Holiest of the Holies........as part of the foundation of Christ in us, if what we believe about these doctrines is not the truth, the foundation in us is not of Christ in us teaching us the truth but an impostor teaching us! (whom we all know the true identity of)

This in turn opens the door for more false doctrines to enter the hearts and minds of God's children that has given us the powerless churches we see today

That is where I stop, in believing if on does not understand every facet and doctrine one is not saved. If we go that far no one would be saved, by most peoples definition.
What I will say though is that any doctrine that takes us away from the simple command to love God and our neighbor as ourselves is where we error gravely.
For it was Paul who said "I don't come to proclaim myself but Jesus Christ". We are commanded to proclaim the good news of Christ and be a light to the world though Christ.

Teachings for us coming from the mind of Christ are either the truth, or it is not the mind of Christ who is doing the teaching.

On the other hand clergy having been teaching "salvation" for centuries, but because the truth of Christ has been left out of the worship of most of the church, so has God gone silent towards most of the church. This is why miracles are so few and far between

It is not a matter of being saved or anything similar. What it is adds up to is the difference of what we believe about we you believe in?

One is our faith in Him, however, a much higher calling that can be fulfilled is the faith of Jesus Christ in us that is the prelude to the fullness of Christ formed in us ........(not 30 or 60 fold but a 100 fold "son of God") who is a building that cannot be completed on anything other than a foundation of truth!

The result of a foundation of truth is the difference between a house built on sand versus one built on the truth of the Rock.

It is also why I say, "when the truth returns to the church so will miracles return the church".
