Better yet, I built everyone elses for free.(after a 60 hour work week in construction, plus raising my family, coaching, being a good husband, counseling, hosting the youth events, teaching in churches, homes and prisons) etc.

So, Sean, how long do we all have before God strikes us dead for opposing your prophetic consul?

Well, regarding tithing, I have seen the "worst" that I have dealt with drop. It seems like about 2 years on the average. It all depends on how hell bent a person is to teach or enforce it.
My prayer to the Lord, regarding the Churches, is to put a stop to this doctrine....whatever it takes.

Secondly you admit that you have wrested the scripture to mean something it does not mean. I could've sworn the Bible says something about that..........let's see......oh yeah wresting the scriptures to their own destruction......hmmm
|
You mean.."here men that die receive tithes"...the Lord just showed me He will give them what they want(death) for teaching the Law of Moses(tithing) to His saints. These men insist on placing themselves in the stead of the O.T. priesthood, which represented the Law. They are doing it to themselves.
[QUOTE=bishoph;1335401]So you believe that God has changed his focus from winning souls to purging HIS church from this heresy?
Absolutely, this terrible doctrine is a scam from the start and is a STENCH to the Lord. The world views giving in Christianity as a ponzi scheme or a business and frankly, they are right.
Can you imagine if the Lord gave the world into our hands, and we were able to collect 10-15%(including offerings) of the worlds economy. This is unimaginable, but this is what the ministry would love to see! Just think of the trillions of $$$$ that the organization could receive as a worldwide salvation tax!
No wonder Paul told the "original elders" to live like this....
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. 33 I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. 34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. 35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
The words in bold above were for the "elders" to give to the flock, not the flock to feed the "hireling" elders.

So that's a no to my previous post?
Your main gripe is that you weren't compensated for your "labor" in the Lord.
OK, I got the picture.

You pray that God will kill everyone who doesn't agree with your teachings.
OK, I gotcha.

I wasnt griping at all. I am GLAD I never asked for a penny. Paul would have done the same thing if he were alive today.(I duplicated this part of his ministry here) I want to be a disciple of the teachings of Paul to the elders in Acts 20. Salvation is free and always will be free with no strings attatched

Just the hell bent heretics. Trying to duplicate their heresy into future teachers, to keep the heresy going into future generations....
Damning the world in the process!

Re: Deep Apostolic Teachers?
To the original question:
I don't know enough for a full recommendation, but one year Dr. David S. Norris taught at our district's family camp, and I was thoroughly impressed with the scope and depth of his teaching.
He may be someone worth checking out.
Another fellow is Dr. Sydney Poe. I can't vouch for him, but my wife had him for a teacher at Bible College and expressed great things to me about his teaching ministry.
Here is a book by Dr. Norris:

Here is a link to a page about Dr. Poe:

Hope it helps!
