I love not being Apostolic!!!

I love not being Apostolic! Several of you are Apostolic in name only. Closet something else.

Come out! Come out! What are you afraid of? There is liberty! There is peace! There is joy!

Lay down the shackles of LEGALISM! Stop the mental gymnastics trying to make the Bible say something that YOU KNOW it doesn't say!

His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Enter into the rest of the Lord!

Re: I love not being Apostolic!!!

Amen and Amen!!

Though I do consider myself Apostolic in that we follow the teaching of the Apostles...just not in that I think being "holy" means trying to look like a 1950's pinup girl.

I loved being apostolic and now I love not being apostolic. There is good and bad to be said about both ways of life....

Agreed!

Mostly I think that if Apostolics stopped making standards a "heaven or hell" issue.... there would be a true revival in their midst. I think personal holiness standards should be set by the spirit living within us, not a man made rule book. If this thing could change.... what a difference it could make.

Re: I love not being Apostolic!!!

I tried the waters of the "Apostolic Movement" back in 1981. That lasted 1 year. I have never missed it.

BUT HOWEVER I still wholeheartdly believe in and teach two precious truths that I learned FROM THEM.

Oneness and Acts 2:38 salvation.

Im sure at one time it was a very great move of God. Now they must go forward to more truth. Not less.
