And don't be dripping that Ice cream everywhere.

It is kind of cool that there are no sharp corners to hurt myself on getting up and down from the table.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Just a little LATE for that, don't ya think?
Of course, it will help stop other rumors from starting about this situation, but still the damage is already done.
I just hope they find a new pastor soon and are able to move on from this tragedy, because that is what it really is ...a tragedy!
235 pages and counting......WOW! (I can even say it backwards...WOW!)

While I didn't post anything on FB at all. I kept reading misinformation here and finally just had enough. I posted what truly happened to try and stop all the misinfo that was circulating. Was I wrong, probably, but I had just finally had enough of the untrue stories that people were circulating. But, as you said, I am anonymous and will stay that way for that very reason. Right after this situation started FB blu-up with all kinds of people venting.
I think that was Bro. Browns reason for that request but I am sure posts on AFF would have been included also. But now that 3 months have passed and the truth and all the evidence has been discovered I think people need to know the facts, otherwise people speculate and all kinds of mistruths circulate and that would have been worse. These stories start off as such and such and then all of a sudden one person adds and another adds to that until all kinds of rumors are circulated. I feel at least my posts help stop that.

Jesus was accused of things around the crucifixion, the Bible says he didn't open his mouth.
A well grounded person would allow God to handle the situation. Little people ignore Biblical mandates. No one on this forum needs info about TPC.
The Bible doesnt make exceptions on spreading gossip.

Day late and a dollar short. Going a long time without a Pastor is NOT good. It has been my experience sometimes these officials have a hard time letting go?

I agree but disagree that Brother Ron Brown will have a hard time letting go. I know he has surely created lasting bonds with the fellowship. Let me say unequivocally that Bro. and Sister Brown have been very gracious and have exhibited nothing but love for us. They have more patience than I do. I do not envy their position. But I think if the truth were known they are ready to let go. They live in Jackson and have made the trek back and forth for months. Please continue to pray for them and TPC.

You know Brother Epley, I don't know you personally but I can tell from other's posts and yours that you are a fine man of God. Thank You, for your love and compassion. And for everyone here that has shown our fellowship love and compassion during this very difficult time. I can tell there are some fine people on AFF. May God bless each of you!

I do know Elder Epley and you are correct. He is one of the finest ultra con Pentecostal preachers I have ever met. While we disagree on 96.7% of things related to church I respect his walk with God, his intellect, and wisdom.
