The Bible leaves no room for opinion on this matter. It explicitly gives instructions how to handle moral failure in the church. It's fact. Read Phillipians 4:8. Read 1 Corinthians 13. Have you read the scripture where is says gossipers, people who cause dissension and those who like to get involve in other people's business will have no part og God's Kingdom. I'm embarassed for you if you think God's Word is someone's opinion.

The bigger question is why are you encouraging actions that clearly are against God's mandate. The person who refuses to do what is right is sinning.

I'm not encouraging anything. I'm simply asking why you're reading and replying to this thread if you are against it.

In total disbelief that you people have nothing better to do.

Plus it allows me to see what kind of 'christians' (using the term loosely) I converse with on a daily basis.

This is what a forum is about. To discuss and debate the topic.

The Bible separates the contenders from the pretenders. I'm flabbergasted at the arroganceof those when pointed out Biblical reasons why this topic should be stopped dead in its tracks. They believe the Bible doesn't mean what it says or the Bible doesn't apply to them.
