Tv1a, I hope that was tongue in cheek. If you are a minister, then your style must be submitted to direction to the ministry given in the Word.

Absolutely. Let the dead bury the dead was a brutal statement. Jesus gave the invitation to follow, people made excuses, Jesus wouldn't wait for someone's father to die.

Absolutely. God's Word mandates I cultivate mature christians to do the work of the ministry.

Fundamentally, these are the underlying issues. The "Romanist" argument is just window dressing...
