It always scares me to call the shots who is lost and who is not lost. I am a 3 stepper and most know that.
In the course of a life time most of us if we are honest change what we believe about this or that. I want to be very careful how I judge people for I will also be judged. I do not agree with Brother Gillispie´s conclusion. In fact at the doctor´s office today I re read the book of Romans. I personally think it is a wonderful book.
Grace is not an ok to sin but rather a different solution than the law of Mosies...

The doctor said...Your blood pressure is sky high...your heart is beating too fast, and a few other things....lol...he gave me several pages of exams to do...
He wanted to know if I was under stress....

I will give it a shot as to what one might say in reference to the elder's statement.
You have to possess the elder's dogma in order to survive in that world of thought. The underlying foundation is one of an extreme uniqueness on religious beliefs.
If a convincing enough revelation occurred that showed conservative pentecostalism that the baptist and others where saved, a good many would fall simply because "it wouldn't have a certain mystique" any longer.
