Re: Effective evangelists?
If a "no name" saint will dare to teach 1 SFT Bible study a week to sinners, God will open up some doors in their life...BIG TIME!!!

But they would be reading NIV, NEB, NWT, ESV, CEV, people who LIKE their translations to sound contemporary. They politely tell you that they feel comfortable with their translation choice, maybe even some who use to use old KJV but changed to NKJV, or CEV. What do you do? You let them read?

But you make a 17th century English Bible part of that evangelism? While you are going to be evangelizing some people who once used the KJV, and have switched to NKJV, and ESV.

No, were are on the topic you brought up by saying the Textus Receptus was a foreign source.

It is perfect for the working/family man to still pull of a HBS a week...
1 Bible study a week equals approx. winning like 15 souls a year if we are consistently teaching...also remember spiritual descendants are involved(big time).
1 teacher can be responsible for 1,000 souls being converted in their lifetime, just by teaching 1 HBS a week!
|
But what if the working/family man only uses an ESV? He once used a KJV, but now feels more comfortable in using the ESV, he also encourages his wife, and children to use the ESV. Would you still want him to teach HBS?

Will God still open up some doors in their life big time if they are still using NON-KJV Bibles?

That wasn't a rebuttal, but an observation.
I've already addressed the flaky argument you present claiming everyone who prophesies is a prophet.

Okay, but I showed you a passage here that says they are indeed prophets....
31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
Now if you can please show me a verse that disqualifies the prophecier from being considered a prophet.(not just your opinion)...Thanks...Meow

Why don't you just admit that you'd actually have to refer to the word baptizo in the Greek to find that it means to be fully immersed??

They can do whatever they want...I just show them the only "quotable" Bible on planet earth(KJV)....If they want to read all those versions and attempt to figure out what the differing meanings are trying to say, a 1 hour lesson can take a lot longer. The 10 week course turns into 15-20 weeks.

I have used it in the past, but, because I dont know other words, intelligent students look at me like I am trying to be something I am not qualified to be...
Like about 20 years ago, there were medical doctors in my HBS in a home of one of them, then I said to them..."doctors say"....about a subject....I felt stupid, and we still laugh about how I said..."doctors say"!!!....LOL
I mean, if you cannot prove your doctrine with the language it is written in...then find more verses...LOL
