For the record, I love my conservative friends here on AFF! 
I hope that you have never felt that I mocked what you hold dear. I disagree with you on some issues, but it is not my intension to mock others. Maybe sometimes I post stuff in humor that could be offensive to someone that doesn't know me well!
I apologize if this has happened, as it was not my intent.
I wish the ultra-cons would hang around more!

I heard that the real reasons the cons and ultra cons left is that Pianoman didn't offer them good enough deals on Steinways!

You hit another nail right on the head.
One of reasons I went into mostly lurking mode was because (to me anyway) it seemed like there was a lot of mocking going on instead of engaging discussion. It wasn't always like that, but it seemed like it was becoming more and more and I just didn't have the energy to participate in it.
I don't mean this towards you PM, but others. Some are gone, some are still here, and some are new.
The mocking wasn't even one sided, but equally given.
