How about if the sister wants to keep her NIV, and her husband wants to allow his wife to do so? You would carry on with the Bible study.

Why would they change if they are comfortable with a translation? Do you push for them to change?

So, you don't insist that they change. You let them keep the translation they are comfortable with until they are good and ready to change. OK.

It doesnt happen, we all start with KJV Bibles...they will not be able to read verses out loud to the group if they dont get with the program...they ALWAYS want to read!
