What is a mystery is why the ACLU and atheists want to remove the term "Easter" from bunny. Don't they know that Easter is linked to paganism?
Have you noticed the sales ads in your area yet? Or is it just my area where Easter is quietly being done away with. Now advertizements speak of Spring breaks and Spring bunnies? Makes you wonder why our rush to disassociate from what our culture associates with Christ? Just ask anyone from the ACLU.
Haven't read the thread. Maybe this has been addressed already....

Good point, and one that was instrumental in changing my own views (at least somewhat) regarding Christmas trees. The ACLU doesn't like them either.

Well.... according to some believers I know it is the 6th day of the week. Thats right they refuse to say the "normal" days of the week.

Tomorrow is my birthday.
I'm sincerest and simplest advice to people is to study the origin of things and pray and let the Holy Ghost guide them.

Tomorrow is Freyja's day .... we honor the fair goddess ...
Friday: The name Friday comes from the Old English frigedæg, meaning the day of Frige, the Germanic goddess of beauty, who is a later incarnation of the Norse goddess Frigg, but also connected to the Goddess Freyja.
It is based on the Latin dies Veneris, "Day of Venus"; compare French vendredi and Spanish viernes. Venus was the Roman god of beauty, love, and sex.

Yes and Sabbatarians are honoring Saturn's Day as well. The Gregorian Calendar does use Pagan names.

I believe any Apostolic that writes, mentions or thinks the word F**day ... is participating in venerating this pagan goddess ... I can't see how any man/woman of God would allow themselves to even utter such heresy ...
Don't you know that this is the day the Lord has made ...
I weep and tremble for the Church of the Living God.....
