As one who chats with PP on the phone, I 'd have to say your bitterness assessment is off. I haven't detected bitterness. I could be wrong, but I'm not given to being wrong publicly very often.

I do agree with your last sentence. There is one reason in the world for me to be spiteful to folks who revile in being spiteful (or to anyone for that matter). Why would I want to be like them?
