It would probably help if you hadn't quoted the post by Miss B about the other sketch. But, you probably couldn't help yourself, it was probably George Bush's fault!

Would've also help if I read it all as well.

Sorry for the confusion . I didn't see the kid thing, but that's just sick and harmful.

Need to add. I viewed the clip on youtube with

I've not viewed one on kids, as I had pointed out to me by MRS. LPW, now that's just sick!

The one with Sarah Palin & Hillary Clinton (the first one) WAS funny, and it is not the skit being addressed here.

Right, and it was on youtube (apparently), but was quickly removed, so I guess I won't actually be watching it either.

I think I understand.

I got a call from an old friend last weekend. We worked together like 13 years ago. She was Apostolic (I wasn't), she was 50 (I was 21), and yet we were quite close.

She had gone through back channels to get a current # for me. (She goes to church with a lady who used to be best friends with my Aunt), and so I heard several months ago that she had asked for my #, and I knew she had been told that I was no longer Apostolic.

Trying to sum up the last 5 years of my life, especially spiritually speaking, was difficult. I tried my best to help her understand how I had gotten to this place, and why though it might appear dark, I have actually done a lot of healing and come along way in the past year.

As we talked, I was really reminded why we had been close in the first place. Though I know that some things I told her alternately saddened her or concerned her, or that she just didn't understand and yet, she was still so sweet and non-judgemental.

I really don't have much interaction with people of the Apostolic persuasion any longer (with the exception of AFF, and granted, I am usually taking up the opposing view of 90% of the forum), and so I didn't want to be guilty of not sharing something good.

If anyone wants to look, it's probably still on CNN.com. They did the story on the SNL sketch where they made the remarks about Todd Palin.
It might still be on there. And they showed a part of the SNL clip.
