Re: 11/4 is bigger than 9/11
"Hispanic voters, traditionally Republican, crossed the political divide. 66 percent of them voted for Obama. 31 percent went to McCain. In 2004 they had voted overwhelmingly for George Bush.
71 percent of first time voters rallied around Obama. Only 29 percent went to McCain
Overall white voters supported McCain by a 12 point margin -- 55 percent to Obama's 43 percent. In 2004, Bush won whites by 17 points."
I'm sure they'll give better break downs soon.

I just think that the rest of the country is figuring out what we on the edges have already figured out....America is truly becoming an ethnic and cultural melting pot and the white hand of power has lost it's grip on power.
I was only commenting on the reality of the change and it's implications on our culture. That's not a political or racial observation as much as it is a cultural one. I just think this political event is a major indicator of a bigger, deeper underlying cultural change.

I think you are wrong, I'm hispanic and it's not about whites losing power, it's about progressives of all colors working together, whites included. I think you are trying to divide while minorities want to work together in coalition.

You don't mean nuclear bomb mushroom cloud, do you? Well in six months, if you listened to Joe Biden's sunday night speech, that's exactly what could happen.

If race was not involved why did this 95% of the black vote NOT vote for the last two liberal presidential candidates?

Gore and Kerry were not credible agents of change.

Numbers show 61% Whites 23% Blacks 16% Hispanic
White postulation was the biggest supporters of Obama!
The rest of the world is more or less jubilant. The world is relieved that it will be no more Bush (soon) or Bush doctrine. But the rockets and bombs are still flying and people are still dying as evidenced by the Israel attack on the Gaza Strip again. It’s business as usual, you know that, a situation that simply isn’t ever going to change unless real change finally transpires and that remains utterly elusive I’m afraid.

We know this to be true until Jesus returns.

You really lose me when you inject race into this. By definition the bolded statement is divisive. I have never made such divisions in my own mind.
