I don't think that is necessarily true. Political liberalism and religious liberalism are two different things. \\You treat "liberal " like it was a dirty word.

In his time Jesus was the biggest liberal on the planet.

In chirch and in politics a balance is needed. Unopposed Conservatism in the church sense leads to legalism, unchecked liberalism leads to worldlineass and lack of consecration.

In the political sense unhindered conservatism can lead to tyranny, unchecked liberalism leads to kind of what we are starting to see now, society out of control with all these voices demanding and receiving attention even when said attention is contrary to the common good.

Both are needed in both circumstances. Just because an idea is liberal doesn't mean it is bad. Unless it comes from the pres. then it is bad by default.

Yea that is the life of a young attorney working for a firm. They pay well but then again you are working 80-100 hours a week. I have done contract jobs with some of the firms in town and it is very common for people to put in 90 hours a week. 4th of July two years ago they paid me double time and a half to work through the 4th on a airline merger that had to be ready to go by the following Monday, this was in addition to the required 50 hours on the project I was working on for them, which I did in in 4 days, allowing me 3 days to work on the other project.

Sorry Nighthawk. I am as conservative as they come on politics and pretty much a dead center moderate on the Apostolic scale... if there is such a thing.

My friend Light is pretty conservative in his faith but a solid democrat.

We dont agree on politics because he is to the left of me. On faith, it appears I am to the left of him... if only slightly.

And Baron and CC1 who are my political blood brothers, are well to my left on issues of faith.

It is just and odd soup around here.
